Scope & Purpose
These Terms and Conditions are intended for the regulation of the relations between the commercial store FANOURAKIS (hereinafter, FANOURAKIS or the Store or the Company), a Greek company based at the address Doukissis Plakentias 70-72, 11523, Athens, Greece with Tax Registration Number XXX, and to you (hereinafter, the Customer), regarding the transactions that are performed through the website, which is located at the address fanourakisjewels.gr (hereinafter the “Online Store” or “On-line Store”).

Definitions
“Location contract documents”. This term includes these Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Statement and the Delivery, Return and Cancellation Policy. In general, the term includes any contract, agreement, label or policy that the Company may issue or publish from time to time, which applies to transactions made through the online store.
“Electronic Product Catalog” or “Catalog”. Contains all the goods, gift certificates and services available from the online store. Some items on the list may not be available or in stock at the time the order is placed. In addition, the items may be changed, replaced or removed from time to time at the discretion of the Company.
“Purchase order” or “Order”. The data message sent by the Customer, who requests the purchase of a product, and through which he expresses his desire to purchase the product according to the quantities, prices, terms and conditions stated in it.
“Confirmation of purchase”. The data message created by the online store and in which the Company expresses its agreement to process the order submitted by the Customer. The Purchase Confirmation confirms that the Company sold and the Customer purchased the said items and records the time of purchase. The message includes an order number, so that Customers can monitor the delivery of their orders.
Accept the order
The purchase of the products must be confirmed by clicking on the “ORDER CONFIRM” button (CONFIRM ORDER), which appears at the bottom of the order form and indicates the explicit acceptance of each Customer and all the Terms and Conditions, as displayed on the website Store. The Customer is not affected by any changes made to the terms and conditions after this point.
Upon acceptance, the user becomes a Customer of the Company, as this term is expressed in the terms and conditions. Any product or service offered after FANOURAKIS will be governed by a new agreement.
Customers who wish to read the terms and conditions more carefully can print them out or save them electronically.
After accepting the terms and conditions, FANOURAKIS will send to the Customer the purchase confirmation and the full terms and conditions via email within the next 24 hours.
You are hereby informed that FANOURAKIS maintains files with all electronic sales documents.
Any errors in the Customer’s personal data can be corrected in the section “MY ACCOUNT” and used for future transactions. If the error affects the current order, the Customer should contact Customer Service.
Tracking and Order History
You can view your orders from “My Account” and by clicking on “View my orders”. There you can see your previous orders or the status of your current order.
If you do not have an account, contact the Store, which will make every effort to inform you of the status of your order.
Product inspection
Keep in mind that you are responsible for the products you order from the moment they are delivered. If the packaging is damaged, do not accept to pick up the items. Despite your legal rights, it is your responsibility to inspect the product and report any potential problems. If any product is defective or not what you ordered, you can return the defective product to our company and we will refund the money for the purchase and all shipping costs.
Availability and validity of the offered products
We make every effort to keep in stock all the items offered on the website. If you order products that are not in stock, we reserve the right to reject the order. You will be informed about email and any amounts you have paid will be refunded.
The prices and offers displayed on the website are valid at the time they are displayed, unless there are other specific terms on the website that indicate otherwise. There may be errors in pricing and spelling.
Orders
The online store is open 24 hours a day. However, the store may be closed from time to time for maintenance. For your convenience, we try to perform all maintenance work at night.
To complete a purchase on fanourakisjewels.gr you must be at least 18 years old and be able to process one of the following payment methods offered:
- Credit or debit card (see “Secure Payments” section for more information)
- Transfer to one of FANOURAKIS’ bank accounts
- Pay on delivery
We may reject an offer or cancel an order under any of the following conditions, without being liable for any damages or costs. Before we take any action to resolve the issue, we will notify you by email and refund any money paid:
- Your payment information is incorrect or unverifiable
- Your order may be fraudulent or related to criminal or illegal activities
- An unintentional error occurred in the online store, such as a payment error, for example
- We have reason to believe that you are a minor
By placing an order in our online store, you intend to purchase the products you have selected in accordance with these terms and conditions. We can accept or reject the order at our discretion.
We can only accept orders placed through our online store or by phone. We do not accept orders placed by email, letter or fax.
If another item is accidentally delivered to the Customer, FANOURAKIS will deliver the correct item to the Customer at no additional cost.
If an item is broken, damaged or in poor condition when received by the Customer, FANOURAKIS will replace the item at no additional cost.
Confirmation of the purchase
Your purchase is confirmed when you click on “CONFIRM PURCHASE” and, as soon as the receipt appears on the screen, you agree to make the purchase. However, see the “Returns” section.
The receipt displayed on your screen is an automated confirmation that we have received your order. However, confirmation does not mean that we have accepted your order. We reserve the right to reject your order even after you receive the automatic confirmation. In this case, you will be informed.
If you have made a mistake in your order, contact the Store which is at your disposal for any assistance. However, be sure to review the details before placing your order.
Check for fraud
In order to protect our customers and keep their online shopping safe, we may confirm the information you provide when placing an order. This may include confirming your address and payment method to prevent fraud.
Prices and taxes
All product prices, shipping costs and other services include VAT. Shipping costs are calculated per order. We will always provide you with the total price, including taxes, charges and delivery costs, if any.
The prices listed on the website are those that are valid at the time of purchase. Prices are subject to change without notice, but no changes will be made to orders that have been accepted.
Secure Payments
At FANOURAKIS we are committed to protecting the personal data of our Customers. We use the industry standard encryption protocol, known as Secure Socket Layer (SSL), to keep your order information secure. All orders are transmitted in encrypted form. To ensure that your application is secure, check your web browser while in the order section. Most browsers use a token to alert you that you are on a secure website. When you create an account with our company, we archive your shipping and invoicing information, but this information will not be used by anyone other than FAOURAKIS and third parties providing services in relation to the site fanourakisjewels.gr.
For credit card purchases, Customers must provide the Card Verification Code (CVC). The CVC code is a 3-digit or 4-digit number or code associated with the information printed on the credit card. This security feature is designed to protect consumers from fraud. Your CVC code will not be stored in our systems and you will have to enter the number every time you make a purchase from fanourakisjewels.gr.
Minors
Our location is not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not collect or intentionally store information about minors. If we are informed that a child has made a purchase without the parent’s consent, we will cancel the sale immediately, at the parent’s request, and refund any amounts paid after the product is returned.
Photos
Some items may appear slightly larger or smaller than their actual size due to screen settings and shooting techniques. Other items may appear larger than the actual size for the details to be clearly visible, or smaller than the actual size for the full view. Also, the shades of the products in the photos in the Online Store may be affected by the resolution of your screen and may differ from the actual shade.
Responsibility of the Company
FANOURAKIS guarantees the quality of the services provided through the Online Store.
We guarantee consumer protection and the legitimate rights of users.
Violation of these Terms and Conditions may result in the return or cancellation of products or services purchased by the Customer.
The Customer agrees to use the services correctly, without violating the law or violating the rights and interests of third parties.
Customer Responsibility
The Customer guarantees the accuracy of the data provided in the contract documents, so as to avoid causing any damage to FANOURAKIS due to inaccurate information.
Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in the revocation or cancellation of the services by FANOURAKIS without prior notice to the Customer, who will not be entitled to compensation.
Intellectual and industrial property
The intellectual and industrial property rights in respect of the works, trademarks, logos and any other protected information contained on the FANOURAKIS website are the exclusive property of FANOURAKIS or the third parties who have authorized their inclusion on the website. Any reproduction, distribution, promotion or conversion of corresponding works, trademarks, logos, etc. constitutes a violation of the intellectual property rights of FANOURAKIS or the right holder and may lead to legal or other measures to protect those rights.
In addition, information that may be accessed by Customers on the Website may be protected by industrial, copyright or other proprietary rights. FANOURAKIS is not responsible in any case for the violation of these rights by users.
Guarantees
FANOURAKIS is responsible to the Customer for defects that are identified within two years from the date of delivery, as required by law. The warranty does not cover defects caused by misuse or improper use of the products or other defects excluded by applicable law.
Legislation and jurisdiction
The relationship between FANOURAKIS and the Customer is governed by Greek law and all disputes will be resolved by the Greek courts.
The Company will prosecute any violation of these terms and any inappropriate use of the website, using any applicable civil and criminal means at its disposal.
